OBJECTIVES |
This work package will address Scientific Objective 1: The development of a human-centered parametric system for generating parametric feature-based foot models. |
DESCRIPTION OF WP1 BROKEN IN TASKS |
Task 1.1 - Foot Feature Library Generation [m1 – m6] |
In this task, the geometry and the parameters that describe the foot features will be defined.
Task 1.2 - Methods and Algorithms for the 3D Reconstruction of Foot Features [m7-m24] |
In order to achieve the required high accuracy in the reconstructed 3D parts of the foot, a novel methodology that has been co-developed by the main researcher for the reconstruction of complex and high-detailed traditional jewelry using a feature-based approach will be adopted (Stamati et al., 2011).
Task 1.3 - Final Foot Model Assembly [m19-m36] |
This task involves algorithms and methods for the generation of the final 3D model of the foot on the basis of the reconstructed feature components.
